Medicinal ingredients: Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745 (5 Billion CFU) (500 mg).
Non-medicinal ingredients: Lactose monohydrate, D-Fructose, Colloidal silicon dioxide, and fruit punch flavor, Stevia rebaudiana (leaf).
Adults and children 2 years and older: Add 2 sticks to a beverage or food, 1-3 times a day (max. of 6 sticks/day).
- To prevent or reduce the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhea, treat or reduce symptoms or as an adjunct to antibiotic therapy in patients with H.Pylori, take 2 sticks daily.
- To help reduce CDAD, take 2 sticks, 2-3 times a day.
Can be taken at the same time as antibiotics.
Stop use and consult a health care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhea) occur, worsen or persist beyond 3 days. Ask a health care practitioner before use if you have an abnormal condition of the gastrointestinal tract lining (i.e. ulcer or other GI tract disorders) or if you are pregnant or breastfeading. The concurrent administration of Saccharomyces boulardii lyo and intestinally acting antimycotics may decrease the efficacy of Saccharomyces boulardii lyo. Treatment does not replace rehydration when this is necessary.
